Quiet days
Quiet days offer a structured and themed opportunity to spend time away from everyday life and work and in fellowship with others spend time in stillness and silence with God.
On a quiet day there is time and opportunity to experience new ways of being with God, receiving from him and listening for the “still small voice”. Jane offers a variety of themed inputs which can help to spark ideas and feelings for you to explore through the day. You can use the times of quiet reflection during the day as you wish, for instance reading, reflecting on the theme of the day, writing in a journal, drawing, using creative prayer or even sleeping! Whatever you feel God is leading you into for your spiritual growth.
People who take time apart to be with God find that he honours their commitment and blesses them.

What is an oasis? One meaning is 'an area or period of calm in the midst of a difficult or hectic place or situation'. That is what these days aim to be in the midst of the busyness of city life.
'Oasis Days' offer quiet reflection for people who need a day to re-charge their spiritual batteries and enjoy the stimulation of an excellent speaker. These popular days on spirituality are held in Christ Church, Southwark, on the second Tuesday of each month and the occasional Saturday. Those leading are from across the denominational spectrum. For catering purposes you must pre-book by calling Martin Davies on 01895 822863 or send him an email.
